Who did this to you?

Jiang Yue and Luo Zhelan returned immediately after the fireworks performance, which lasted more than 30 minutes.1

Just as the two were about to enter the venue of the Celebration Dinner, Jiang Yue received an unexpected call from her phone. 

It was Sunshine. 

Jiang Yue answered it, her other hand still being held by the man beside her, not even letting it go for a second. 

"Where are you?" Sunshine asked on the other end of the phone just as the call connected, "I'm currently in the Capital right now. I have a gift for you." 

"What is it for?" 

"What else is it for?" Sunshine rolled her eyes, "Of course because you're this country's Top Scorer! How can I not give you any gift? I'm sure you'll like it! You've always wanted this before— Ah, I can already imagine your surprised expression..." 

"You're quite updated about what's happening, aren't you? I thought you were too busy with your business that you forgot to open Weibo." Jiang Yue stated. 

The last time they spoke was when there was an earthquake on the border of Country Z and Sunshine had to go there to provide medical assistance.

"Please, I'm still busy, but I always make time to scroll through Weibo. Just tell me where you are right now and I'll come to you— Oh, you have to see this car I just bought," Sunshine stated excitedly, and Jiang Yue could only agree. 

She is fairly certain that the girl's motivation for visiting her was not to give her the gift but to show off the car she had purchased.

That woman had always been like this.

She'd be delighted for every possible reason, which is why she gave her the name 'sunshine' because the girl is like a beam of sunshine.

But it's not the kind of ray of sunshine that makes you awe at how lovely it is; it's the kind that makes you squint your eyes as your head hurts from the brightness, and it's becoming irritating.

Sunshine is that kind of person. 

If that woman hadn't saved her before, she doubts there is even a possibility that the two of them would be friends with how opposite their attitudes are. 

"I just noticed that you have a long scar here," Luo Zhelan muttered more to himself rather than to Jiang Yue who was still on call with her friend. 

Jiang Yue turned her attention to the scar that he was referring to which was on her left hand.

It was around 3 centimeters that was across her palm. It's hardly visible because it's the same color as her palm, but you can feel the texture of the scar when you touch it.

Luo Zhelan had only noticed it now because during the two times he held her hand, which was when they were in the hospital, and just a while ago, he only held her right hand.

It is only now that he noticed that she had that kind of scar on her left hand when he held it. 

"Oh, it's just a scar from my previous wound," Jiang Yue replied, trying to convey that it was nothing to her. Her mind, however, was already occupied by several memories that resurfaced when Luo Zhelan mentioned the scar.

The wound was much bigger than it is now before and she has the same wound on her left chest.

She used a special cream that Sunshine had given her for the scar to fade, however, one day she decided she wanna keep it as a reminder of what happened and what those people had done to her. 

Luo Zhelan's gaze shifted to her, and without his eyes moving away from her, he held up her palm and placed a light kiss on the scar, prompting Jiang Yue's heart to beat loudly in her chest. 

'Who did this to you?" Luo Zhelan asked in a low voice and Jiang Yue doesn't know but the way he said those words made her want to tell him everything that happened. 

However, she stopped herself.

She shook her head and answered in an emotionless voice, "I forgot. It was too long ago, probably from an accident." 

"Jiang Yue, did you hear me?" 

Jiang Yue only realized she was still on call with her friend at that point, her cheeks flushing as she couldn't believe she had forgotten about the call since Luo Zhelan had been talking to her.

This man is too dangerous if he decided to seduce her, as she might not even know that she had already fallen for his tricks. 

He's too good at it, now that this topic came to her mind, it is then that she noticed that Luo Zhelan's demeanor seems to change.

He appears excessively flirtatious to her— both the way he looked at her and behaved with her. It was as though after they had been in a relationship just a while ago, he didn't even bother to conceal how his eyes looked at her now. 

"JIANG YUE!" 

"Yes, what did you say?" Jiang Yue replied without thinking and couldn't help but scold herself in her mind, as she had been once again distracted by the man in front of her. 

"I said, where are you? Are you talking to someone right now? You could have just told me," Sunshine remarked on the other end of the phone. 

"I'm at the Royal Hotel right now; are you coming here?" Jiang Yue responded, to which the woman agreed, stating she'd be there shortly.

"Your friend is coming here?" Luo Zhelan inquired, and she nodded.

"Let's go down first, I'll just chat with my sister that we'll go back later." 

Jiang Yue and Luo Zhelan went down to the ground floor, and knowing Sunshine would show her the car, she dragged the man alongside her to the hotel's parking space.

They waited across the corner, waiting for the woman to come as a few cars parked in the parking space in front of them. 

Their attention was drawn, however, to a car that just pulled up not far away from them. And without even seeing the person driving the car, Jiang Yue could tell right away that it was her friend, Sunshine. 

The car that just pulled up was a Lamborghini Aventador.

But what made Jiang Yue sure that it was her friend was that the car was of the color bright pink— pink and glittery.
