Hotel staff, clad in maintenance uniforms, huddled around the source of the trouble—a clogged toilet. Tools and equipment were scattered on the marble floor, lending an uncharacteristic disarray.

When the staff saw her, one of them told her, "Madam, we are really sorry but this washroom cannot be used currently. You can use the washroom on the lower floor. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Nie Mianmian frowned but did not say anything. What could she say? The hotel staff was already working on the problem.

She walked towards the elevator to go to the lower floor. However, as soon as the elevator door opened, she saw that there was a big pool of stinking liquid in the elevator.

Nei Mianmian stepped back. Her eyes were full of disgust. She looked at her exquisite limited edition high heels. She did not move for a long time. She now had no other option but to take the staircase.

As soon as Nei Mianmian entered the hall again, she saw Xi Ting feeding Qin Yan personally. She felt envious and jealous at the same time, engulfing her until it was almost unbearable.

Nei Yehai walked towards his sister at this time seeing her glaring at the couple. "Are you done? I have already reminded you to give up. I've never seen Xi Ting so protective of a woman before."

The moon hung high in the night sky, casting a soft glow upon the quiet streets as a family of three made their way home. Xi Ting held Qin Yan's hand as they walked side by side, their steps synchronized in a comfortable rhythm. Qin Yan, with a warm smile on her face, held the little bun's hand as they walked inside the villa.

"I will sleep with my darling today," Qin Yan said immediately.

The little guy's eyes lit up but Xi Ting's face got covered with a frown.

"He has come back after a long time. I want to accompany him to sleep," Qin Yan said.

"Okay," Xi Ting replied.
