"CHAPTER 1: Apocalypse 2012

Author: Word Count: 14409 Updated: 2025-06-29 01:14:26

The Mayan prophecy foretold: After darkness falls on December 21, 2012… dawn will never return...

The ancient prophecies depicted in the Tui Bei Tu scriptures of the East spoke of ""cosmic rebirth at the horns..."" In simpler terms, it meant that at the twilight of mankind, an unprecedented global war would erupt. Every nation, every land, sky, earth, and ocean would be engulfed!

The Christian Book of Revelation also proclaimed: Humanity in 2012 would face a cataclysm unlike any before, followed by the advent of a savior to quell the conflict, ushering in an era of unimaginable peace. Finally, God’s judgment would descend upon mankind. After the Day of Judgment, God would lead His faithful into a new heaven and a new earth!

Every ancient prophecy converged upon this date—2012!!!

Time: December 21, 2012, 2:00 PM. The day foretold by the Mayan prophecies, the Eastern Tui Bei Tu, and the Western Revelation… the day the apocalypse would descend...

Before a castle emblazoned with a torch symbol, a team of several dozen warriors known as the Warriors of Light stood assembled. At their forefront stood their captain, Lin Ge, an imposing figure radiating unwavering resolve. His towering stature and handsome, square-jawed face seemed sculpted from molten steel.

This was Lin Ge—a man hailed as an unrivaled emperor in the apocalypse.

Following the gaze of his warriors stood a young woman possessing a strikingly captivating figure. A fitted leather corset accentuated her form, contrasting beautifully with her delicate, pale features which hinted at breathtaking beauty beneath. She moved with deliberate grace, head held high like a queen surveying her realm, strolling past Lin Ge and his men. A slight, elegant curve played on her subtly upturned lips.

Her presence commanded attention, but the most arresting feature was her corset itself. Its plunging neckline revealed a daring circular opening centered deep within her cleavage, the exposed snow-white flesh slightly molded and pressured by the tight leather, yet somehow enhancing rather than diminishing its heart-stopping allure. With each step, her ample breasts quivered subtly, setting male hearts thrumming in time with their movement.

brilliant, unwavering smile graced her face, untouched by the oppressive atmosphere or the gaze of dozens of men trying—and failing—to disguise a flicker of hunger. Truly, accustomed since childhood to stares from men of all kinds, theirs felt almost insignificant. These men, merely two years prior, were unremarkable college students scattered across the country.

They had united to face the coming apocalypse, enduring brutal, transformative training akin to a phoenix’s rebirth to become these cold, lethally efficient warriors whose power defied human imagination. Though hardened beyond their boyish pasts, faint echoes of campus introspection and youthful shyness still clung to them. Their stolen glances held admiration, perhaps, but little else – lacking the predatory imagination that might see bare skin beneath fabric. For now, they wore the simple, uncomplicated expression any man wears before beauty.

The girl found herself thinking of her own people. They never masked their desires or affections, pursuing those they wanted with bold directness. By comparison, these newly forged Warriors of Light embodied restraint.

Though instantly commanding every male gaze, she was long accustomed to such attention. These warriors marched towards almost certain death within the Dark Citadel. This might be their final parting. How could she fault them for lingering looks?

And their admiration seemed merely a natural reflex to breathtaking beauty, devoid of deeper, uglier thoughts. She understood this well. She wouldn't mimic the flustered, affected reactions of timid girls on this world, covering vulnerable spots and trembling under masculine attention before calling them names. Instead, she offered a gracious smile of understanding and acceptance.

""The failure rate for this mission exceeds ninety-nine percent,"" her voice cut through the charged air. ""Most of you will fall in the coming battle... Do you still choose to march forward?""

The gazes of the warriors shifted to Lin Ge. Captain of the Warriors of Light. The pinnacle of human combat strength. A man whose single punch could topple a skyscraper. Within this team, no one matched Lin Ge’s power, nor could anyone replace his importance.

Under the collective gaze, Lin Ge drew a long, deep breath. Memories, vivid as flickering film reel, surged across time, engulfing him. Two years ago, he had been merely Lin Ge, a penniless university student—utterly ordinary. Then came his selection, bringing him to this mysterious castle. After two years of relentless isolation and training, he had emerged a man capable of bearing the world’s weight.

Closing his eyes, a sudden, unexpectedly captivating smile softened Lin Ge’s features. Its warmth radiated outwards, disarming the hardened warriors... and undeniably stirring the watching girl. Why such serenity? Such untroubled brilliance? What memory could evoke such profound peace? She observed him, recognizing the compelling allure of a man utterly focused, lost in purpose. In that instant, his potent magnetism could subdue the proudest heart. A quiet sigh escaped her lips as she felt her own composure melt away.

And then, Lin Ge’s smile deepened. Before his closed eyes materialized the ethereal image of Xue’er: cloaked in pristine white, her long, silken hair a dark river. Xue’er—his eternal affection. Should the apocalypse truly come, Xue’er's vibrant, sun-bright life would be extinguished in the nuclear firestorm, dissolving at its most radiant, vanished into ash. An unwelcome stab of anguish pierced Lin Ge’s heart. He seemed to see Xue’er’s angelic face contorted in agony as nuclear fire consumed her, her wide eyes pools of profound despair silently pleading for his aid. Blinking hard, he banished the horrifying vision, but a shudder ran through him nonetheless. If the bombs fly, this nightmare becomes reality. Xue’er must live. The apocalypse must be stopped. The resolve crystallized instantly.

""Even if we all fall,"" Lin Ge declared, his voice rising with fierce conviction, filling the air, ""we will annihilate the Stellar Marauders within the Dark Citadel and stop the apocalypse! Should we perish, our hope remains—that all humanity will see the dawn of the New Era! I demand that 2012 be remembered as humanity's Year of Hope... not the End!""

Who doesn't have loved ones? Who doesn't have something precious to defend? The warriors stirred. Thoughts of families, friends—all living on this vulnerable Earth—filled their minds. Should the apocalypse descend, those they cherished would be erased by nuclear fire. A primal, protective fire ignited within them.

""To save our loved ones!"" a warrior shouted. ""To stop the apocalypse!"" Another voice chimed in. Then another. Together, their unified oath surged heavenward, potent enough to shatter the brooding clouds above. ""To stop the apocalypse!""

The moment had arrived. Today, it ends. 2012—a millennia-old curse, a date etched into the consciousness of billions...

The beautiful girl watched the assembled Warriors of Light, an expression of unprecedented radiance transforming her features. ""My blessings go with you,"" she called out, her voice clear and strong. ""I will await your triumphant return. You are humanity’s strongest. Through you, mankind shall be redeemed…""

Two years past… Amid the escalating fear surrounding the 2012 prophecies, the Warriors of Light had been born, with Lin Ge as their captain. Their sole purpose: prevent the global nuclear catastrophe, and annihilate the extraterrestrial invaders—the savage Stellar Marauders. Though only a few dozen, they carried the desperate hope of all humanity. Could these Warriors of Light shatter the prophecy of doom?

""Brothers! We move out!"" Lin Ge’s command cut like steel. ""This day... victory, or death!""

""Move out!""

They marched like heroes bound for a point of no return, their hearts steeled for sacrifice. When fear of death vanishes, what obstacle remains? Their blood burned with unyielding resolve; the impossible felt within reach. Lin Ge and nineteen Warriors boarded the sleek starship, vanishing into the overcast sky.

The Princess of Phoenix watched their dwindling craft, her ever-present smile finally faltering. A single, hot tear traced an unexpected path down her flawless cheek. It might have been during their initial encounter, or perhaps born from months of silent watchfulness—she couldn't pinpoint the moment her heart had irrevocably yielded to Lin Ge, this brilliant Warrior of Light. She, royalty of Phoenix Planet, revered across star systems, possessing the galaxy's noblest bloodline, found herself caught in the unexpected gravity of a forgotten, backwater world called Earth, drawn to one of its seemingly ordinary sons. Perhaps her planet's court, perhaps all advanced civilizations, would scorn such a bond. But this... this was her first true love! A fleeting, almost girlish smile, one so like an Earth woman’s, touched her lips. Was it loneliness? Or simply the profound impact of his presence? The spark of love, however ignited, had blossomed into undeniable truth.

""Lin Ge,"" she whispered into the void the starship left behind, ""I know you will return. I believe it...""

The starship shuddered violently, landing in a pocket of reality shielded by dimensional barriers. Though technically on Earth, this place existed outside all known geography. Here, sorcerer-generals from Stellar Planet had erected dimensional cloaking technology; one could walk directly over its location and never detect the citadel lurking below. Only the advanced ships of Phoenix Planet, calibrated to a unique frequency, could pierce the veil—a testament to superior engineering and skill.

Ahead lay the Dark Citadel—stronghold of the Stellar Marauders, birthplace of the impending global nuclear devastation, the vile seed that threatened to bloom. The moment the ship settled, its twenty warriors surged out, a relentless tide flowing towards a tower of obsidian metal stretching dozens of stories high.

Within its depths resided Stellar Planet’s most guarded secret: the Matriarch. This supercomputer core, the architect of doom, would trigger the apocalypse. Through the Matriarch’s digital tendrils, the Stellar Planet commanders could infiltrate Earth’s military command networks and unleash the nuclear holocaust. Humanity’s technological might was mere child’s play before the Matriarch; a single program could shatter every defense system on the planet. Salvation lay in one desperate act: detonate enhanced explosives within the Citadel to destroy the Matriarch core.

""CHARGE!""

The cry ripped from Lin Ge’s throat as the warriors raced towards the colossal obsidian fortress like unleashed thunderbolts. Metallic blades, forged from extraterrestrial alloys gifted by Phoenix Planet, cleared their sheathes. Only these enchanted weapons, resonating with alien power, could breach the formidable armor of the Stellar Planet marauders.

KRA-KOOM!

The massive gates of the Dark Citadel groaned open. A nightmarish tide poured forth—creatures of grotesque forms converging upon the warriors. Some resembled immense tigers, others monstrous lions or hyenas, yet all shared grotesque mutations, colossal strength, and palpable, vicious rage. Metallic sheen glinted from their coarse hides. Their eyes, burning with primal bloodlust, sent chills through the bravest heart. Most terrifying of all, these beasts dwarfed Earth’s mightiest predators—easily seven or eight times the size. Their claws looked capable of shredding steel plates inches thick.

""Warp Beasts!"" Lin Ge’s pupils constricted. Legendary creatures of the void—Warp Beasts! Predators who once ravaged the galaxy, embodiments of primordial savagery. Phoenix Princess had spoken of them: the favored shock troops of Stellar Planet marauders, unleashed upon resource-rich worlds. This monstrous army had instilled terror across countless star systems in ancient times.

The beasts towering before them, many over three meters tall, were chiefly tiger-lion variants—favored for sheer, crushing force. Even the weakest Warp Beast possessed a brute power magnitude exceeding two hundred units. Two hundred units!

By cosmic combat metrics, one unit equaled the total physical strength of a single human male. Thus, a single swipe from a Warp Beast delivered the concentrated might of two hundred men. An ordinary human struck by such force would instantly be pulped—annihilated beyond recognition.

Retreat wasn't an option. Victory demanded they carve their path through the horrors. In this moment, overwhelming force was the only universal language. Lin Ge’s face hardened into glacial resolve. He was the first to surge forward, his alien blade flashing as he met the monstrous tide at the Citadel’s threshold. The Warriors of Light followed without hesitation, their disciplined ranks clashing against the bestial chaos like competing ocean waves. The air before the Dark Citadel erupted into a cacophony of roars, screams, and the horrific clash of steel on chitin.

Life became fleeting as summer wheat. The metallic tang of blood saturated the heavy air. Severed limbs—both beast and human—arced through the gloom in macabre ballet. The scene dissolved into pure, brutal horror.

It was the last day before the apocalypse. Driven by desperation, driven by hope, humanity’s desperate champions waged a savage, intimate war against cosmic horrors. This day, December 21, 2012, would be forever etched into history. Even if the deeds of the Warriors of Light faded into legend, the date itself—the year of dread—would resonate through generations. On this night, billions lay awake, holding their breath as sleep fled. The Year Zero of the Apocalypse... was upon the threshold."
