In another area about 50 km away…

"Who... are you?" Welshon growled. Blood was dripping from both his ears, and he was down on one knee while holding his abdomen, which had a huge hole in them, with a bloody hand. His other arm had been torn apart and was lying on the ground near him… But that wasn't really what he was focusing on. 

He bit down on his lips as he cauterized his abdomen wound with a spell. Sweat drenched his back as he kept his eyes on the creature who attacked him. 

Standing in front of him was an unknown youth with bright red hair that reached his waist, eyes that were blazing with gold flames, and pointy red ears. 

Welshon had almost gotten to Mika Nakamura. He wanted revenge for the interference last time, so he sent his underlings after Juin while he went after Mika with the intention to torture her slowly. The moment he appeared, he did not give them any warning before starting his attack. While her teammates were strong, they were nobody in his eyes, especially since her and her group were basically abandoned by the Nakamura Clan. 

Just from their weapons alone, Welshon knew that these were a group of participants who were not viewed upon highly by the Nakamura Clan, especially not when there was a sniveling kid among this group. 

The Nakamura Clan probably sent them to make it seem bigger and to exert pressure on the rest of the participants. 

After scaring half her team away, leaving only her and the youngest in her group, Welshon thought he would have a chance to attack her. Yet this youth appeared out of nowhere and saved those two from him before reflecting his attack back, sending them towards his teammates. 

His attacks then came out of nowhere and killed all those in Welshon's team. Welson didn't even know he was being attacked until he saw the youth in front of him with his torn arm.

The youth merely smirked before tossing his torn arm aside. 

Just as he was crying in pain upon realizing the loss of his arm, the youth appeared right in front of his face with a fist raised. Welshon blocked the attack, but with only one hand left, he was unable to stop the youth's other hand, which connected to his abdomen before tearing a hole in it. 

The youth glanced back at the injured Mika Nakamura and the crying young boy that was hiding behind her. 

"Idiot…" he thought to himself. "Should have just left that burden behind and run off…"

He was right. With her ability, even if she couldn't defeat Welshon and his teammates, she could have escaped easily, like what her other two teammates did the moment they were ambushed. 

The youth looked back at Welshon, upon which an immense pressure soon landed on the latter, causing him to cough up more blood. 

An invisible hand then wrapped itself around Welshon's neck before lifting him up in the air. Just as the youth was about to finish him off, he sensed a disturbance in the air. 

"Imbeciles…" he cursed before disappearing from sight. 

Mika was watching the whole scene happening. One of her young cousin's legs was broken when they were ambushed, and she herself did not escape unscathed. There were no ways they could run away. 

When that weird youth appeared, she thought they would die for sure, but he seemed to be helping her. 

However, he disappeared suddenly!

"Boo!" 

A teasing voice appeared behind her. 

The youth appeared behind Mika Nakamura and slashed the two demons who cut open a portal and appeared out of thin air right beside her with their swords cutting towards her neck.

Mika Nakamura glanced back just in time as heavy rain of blood fell, yet oddly enough, none of the blood fell on her. She would have thought it was a dream not for her younger cousin, who was drenched in the blood of their assassins.

Their eyes met briefly before the youth looked up and said, "Ah, he's gone." 

He then looked at Mika Nakamura and smiled. "Should I chase him down?" 

Mika was stunted temporarily by this crazily powerful youth who came out of nowhere, helping them and saving them from the Dark Night Clan members who were hellbent on killing them. 

"Are you dumb? Records didn't mention any defects," said the youth as he cocked his head. He glanced at her injuries before taking out a purple pill from his Dimensional Pouch. "Here, eat this." 

"Sister Mika, no!" the younger boy gasped when Mika reached out to take it. "It could be poison!" he whispered. Even though he was scared of the youth, he didn't want his cousin to get into trouble, especially since she got injured while protecting him. 

"I…" Mika did not know why, but she felt like she could trust the youth. It was a feeling that she had never felt before, other than towards her older brother. "I…" she stuttered as she looked at the pill in her hand. 

The younger boy grabbed it and tried to eat it, to put himself as the guinea pig, but before he could put it in his mouth, the pill was swiped away from his hand. He looked at his empty hand before looking at the youth in front of him. 

"That's not for you, kid," said the youth with a frown. He took out another white pill from his Dimensional Pouch. "This is for you. If you eat the pill meant for her, you'll die." 

He then tossed both pills to them. 

"What do you mean?" Mika asked after catching it. Now she was hesitant. She could tell that the youth wouldn't kill her, but there was no guarantee that he wouldn't try to control her by making her eat weird pills. 

"It's up to you. The pill is only for you. If you don't want to eat it, don't eat it. If you give it to others, they might die from it… So, if you want to give it to someone else, make sure that it's someone that you want dead," said the red-haired youth. 

He then looked in one direction and said, "Do not go there. Some as*hole is luring you guys in." 

Taking out a few items from his Dimensional Pouch, he then threw them at her feet. 

"This is…" Mika's eyes widened in surprise. "They are what we need!" 

"Most of them…" the red-haired youth said as he folded his arms. "I have cast a spell on them, so no one would be able to detect them. As for the final items, I won't be able to give you as they are in a place that I cannot enter." 

"Why are you doing this?" 

The red-haired youth smirked and got down on one knee in front of her. He lifted her chin and took a good look at her face. "I like your face, that's it." 

He then disappeared and reappeared in midair. He seemed to sense something again. His eyes narrowed slightly as he looked in one direction. Looking back at Mika, he added, "I have to leave now. Remember, once you are in that place, do not believe in anything or anyone you see." 

"Wait, what's your-" 

It was too late. The weird youth disappeared before she could finish her question. A moment later, they heard a commotion from a distance away before feeling a black meteorite fell from heaven, circled above them, before moving towards the south. 

"What the hell…" Mika Nakamura gasped as she watched the black meteorite. That wasn't an ordinary meteorite. She felt immense pressure when the meteorite was hovering above them. It was almost as if she was facing an almighty god.
