In the end, he lost.

The moment Mai Yuerui kissed him, he couldn't think of anything else.

He was disappointed when she broke the kiss.

He wanted more.

The sweet and attractive smile of her after their kiss drove him insane.

At this moment, he didn't care what her answer was or whether she was kissing him because of the medicine.

He seemed to have forgotten everything.

When Kong Xianwang came back to his senses and realized what he has done he immediately get off from the bed and looked at himself in horror.

"What have I done!" He hated himself for the thing he has done.

He promised that he will not take advantage of her. How could he break that!

He looked guiltily at Mai Yuerui who was soundly asleep.

"Please.... Forgive me!" He uttered slowly before rushing out from her room.

Another cold shower!

When he came out of the shower his eyes fell on the pink bathrobe he was wearing.

The visions of their kiss flashed through his eyes.

But the next second his flinched and threw the robe in the washing basket.

He put on some comfortable clothes and came out of the washroom.

After drying himself he went to check on his wife.

He left in a hurry that he didn't even see if she was laying comfortably.

He cleaned her room and covered her with the blanket.

After fixing her pillow, he was about to kiss her on her forehead but he stopped in the mid-way.

He pursed his lips before whispering, "I will not let this happen again."

He caressed her hair and left the room.

After leaving her room, he lied on his bed but couldn't sleep.

His mind was lost with so many thoughts.

He only came back to his senses when he heard his phone ring.

He looked at the screen and it said 'Si ying'

"Hmm" he said leisurely with his eyes closed.

"Kong Xianwang, you won't believe what happened!" The excited voice of Si ying came from the other side.

"What?"

"Han Yefang! Han Yefang and Zhang Eliza made a huge scandal!"

Kong Xianwang opened his eyes as soon as he heard the name Han Yefang.

He had a cold expression in his face.

"Scandal?" He uttered one word.

"Yes. Turn on to the news channels. They are all over the place."

Kong Xianwang picked up the remote to turn on the TV.

Indeed they were famous. Infamous to be honest!

"Damn! These two. If they had to do this kind of stuff why couldn't they do it some other day. Why do they have to get caught just on the day you got engaged. Not to mention in the same hotel!" Si ying kept on with his nagging while Kong Xianwang kept staring on the the screen.

"Kong Xianwang, how should I deal with this mess? Should I contact the channels to stop the telecast?" Si ying asked impatiently.

"No!" Kong Xianwang replied coldly upon his proposition.

"What? You don't want me to cover this scandal?" Si ying was surprised.1

"You didn't hear my word?" Xianwang replied in bone chilling voice.

"Umm... But..." Si ying was confused.

"In fact..." Xianwang added

"Make this scandal as big as possible." He said while still looking at the tv screen.

Han Yefang is such a jerk. How dare he try to touch Mai Yuerui with his filthy hands.

Kong Xianwang clenched his fist while thinking about it.

When Mai Yuerui woke up the next day it was 8 in the morning.

She had a terrible headache and couldn't open her eyes properly.

She reached forward for her phone to check the time.

But all of a sudden she jumped out of her bed when she realized she hadn't removed her lenses yet.

"Oh my God! Why are you still in my eyes!" Mai Yuerui rushed to the bathroom.

After removing the lens she washed her eyes properly and thanked God that her eyes were still fine.

After washing her face she realized that she was still wearing the dress she wore in the party.

"Why am I still wearing this!" She wondered when she remembered that she drank a whole bottle of wine the previous night.

As she is in Kong Xianwang's house, it seemed that he brought her here while she was drunk.

"Mai Yuerui, you dumb! How could you drink so much that you are completely blacked out!"

"I can't remember what happened yesterday!"

"I hope I didn't do anything stupid!" Mai Yuerui murmured to herself as she changed into comfortable clothes and went downstairs sheepishly.

Mai Yuerui tiptoed on her feet as she quietly looked for Kong Xianwang.

She looked at the living room and the dining room as well but he was not there.

Since it was already passed 8 a.m. Mai Yuerui thought her workaholic husband has already drove out for the office.

"Thank goodness. He is not here!" Mai Yuerui murmured with a sigh of relief as she turned to the kitchen.

But she immediately became a statue when she saw her husband in the kitchen, looking at her while whisking a pancake mixture.
