Great Grandpa's Story

  Quinn reached her head and scratched it. Somehow, everything is giving her a headache and the numbers but she's willing to learn anyway. But she stood and collapsed dramatically on Cole's bed. 

"Ed-ache." She said and sighed as Cole patted her head. 

"You should sleep." 

  He gathered the real money that she owns and put it in her purse. Then, he also took out the flash card and went to his table to organize it. He then searched for his baby sister who was currently on the bed of Grandpa Carter and started showing off a photo album as she pointed to each of the people and indicated their names. The old man was smiling while listening to Dione and Kal also did the same as he showed off his other photos. 

  He then walked to the crib to check on Kaiden but the boy was busy sharing his rattle with his cousin in the same crib. 

"Does Kaiden need milk?" He asked. 

"I am still stocking milk, baby," Keira told him as she left the room shortly. 

  They all stood when they served cookies, milk, and other light snacks. They all gathered quickly and Alexa picked up something for Carter like a very responsible sister. Carter patted Alexa's head as he thanked her. The kids are already having fun in one room, even the babies had their games. 

  Victor stood every hour to check on his phone if he could contact Johanna. 

  Violet was busy taking care of the infants, while Tracey was busy organizing the kid's clothes in their separate rooms and pumping milk from her breast. Keira on the other hand was pumping milk from her breast and checking the CCTV footage to make sure that everyone was safe. She sipped on her milk while rotating the cameras as she also monitored the Ocean Headquarters. 

"Love," Alessandro entered the control room of the villa. "I already spoke to dad and I have to go to the office." 

"No. You are staying here." She highlighted the word 'here' as she raised her brows. 

"We can't go bankrupt at this time. I also had Travis, Adam, Zach, and even James backing me up." 

"But we are in crisis." 

"And it was our business. We need resources if this war breaks out." 

  She exhaled exasperatedly. 

"Alright," She grumbled. 

"Great. I will go now." 

"No!" She exclaimed at him. 

"Babe, you know that I have to go to the office early as well." He argued. 

"Make sure that you won't flirt with anyone." 

"Not even James?" He asked as he raised his brows. She glared at him. 

"I say 'anyone', didn't I?" 

  He shut his mouth and nodded his head submissively. 

"Now, go. Bring someone with you. Don't get damn killed." 

"Yes, boss!" He saluted. He then kissed her lips. "I will go and give Calli more kisses." 

  Back in the great room for the kids, he entered to find Calli playing with her Uncle Granger. She smiled quickly upon seeing him and raised her arms. He picked her up and gave her a lot of kisses that annoyed her. He put her down and wiped her cheeks. 

"Daddy's going out. Don't be naughty, okay?" 

  Calli frowned, her lips turned into a different curve then she exclaimed in a high pitch. 

"Bye, Calli. Daddy loves you." 

  Calli screamed at Sandro as she waved her hands but she was crying. 

"Mommy will be with you, okay?" 

  Sandro kissed her forehead again. 

"Now, play with your Uncle." 

  The little girl was still frowning as Sandro was leaving.

  Alicia was alone in the house with two maids and three securities after Leon left her alone. She somehow felt lonely and curious about what was happening. Shortly, one of the security received a message as they used the bulletproof car. The maids quickly pack up their things as she receives instruction from the Rossie Empire. It didn't take long when they were packed up as she made sure that her babies were prepared from diapers and all. She had just given birth but it seemed to be an emergency. 

  It was hours of driving as two security followed them by motorbikes. When they arrived at a villa, Alicia gaped and looked around. The maids escorted her inside. Keira greeted her and took one of the babies. 

"I set up the room and everything you need is there." She said, "We already have someone to run errands." 

"What's going on?" She asked while holding her baby girl. 

"It's a long story," Keira said. The room was just across from the kid's room where they are still having fun and listening to Carter's story. They all have a lot of questions as the old man never felt sleepy at that moment. He's old and he used to feel very sleepy but tonight, he was having fun. He's currently holding Kaiden and Calli on both of his sides as he continues his super story. 

  Alicia smiled as she put her babies inside first and put them in bed. The maids with her quickly set up the crib. Keira helped with organizing the diapers that Alicia brought with her. Then, the fridge for storing her milk. 

"I had snacks prepared in here as well," Keira told her. 

"What's going on?" Alicia asked as she put pillows beside the twins. The maids stood in the corner after they were done. "The two of you should go to your quarters now," Alicia told them. "I will call you if I got something important." 

"Yes, milady." They bowed and left. Keira sat with her as she reached her hand. 

"In a few hours, the Lefebure will engage a missile, and since they had no idea about this place so I have to take you here."

"But~~" Alicia looked panicked as she thought of Leon. She doesn't know if she could live without him right now. "But Leon… my husband." 

"He will be fine. They are doing everything to prevent it" She said like a promise. Keira gently squeezed her hand. "We will do everything to keep you and the twins safe. For now, we should just make it normal for the kids. They are having fun right now. "I will be here for you." 

"My Leon." Tears started streaming down her cheeks. Keira understands that she's upset but she will do everything for them.

28 Hours Later

  Lukas was currently standing in front of the window watching the rain mixed with thunder and lightning. The plan must go on. Currently, everyone is normal in the Evergarden Country. It seemed that they didn't know yet. But somehow, he wasn't confident. He knew that they already planned. He was about to go to his bed when the lightning struck again as he noticed a silhouette somewhere near the post. He squinted his eyes to check it as there was indeed a man standing under the rain staring just outside in front of his bedroom. 

  When the lightning strikes again, he now identifies that the man was facing him. He creased his brows and quickly rushed to the table to get the radio to call security and identify the person. When he went back, the man disappeared. He knew that it wasn't a ghost. It was something else. 

"Find him!" He growled. 

  He closed the curtains as he sat on his bed. He's sure that someone had entered the mansion to kill him. The Rossie Empire must have sent him. That night, there were no reports that a man entered the facility. He couldn't sleep as he even went directly to the control room as the operator already mentioned that due to lightning one of their servers blacked out for a few seconds as they couldn't see a man standing there. But one of the guards found something. It was a plastic bag and they gave it to him. 

  Lukas quickly took out something from it as he checked the paper. 

  It was a message in printed words. 

  I NOW KNOW THAT I AM NOT ALONE. I FORESEE YOUR MOVES AND I WILL SLAUGHTER YOU AS YOU DID TO MINE. 

  He caressed the pressed seal on the paper as he froze feeling the old phoenix seal. He looked at the camera as they finally found the man standing walking casually like he knew every spot in the mansion. The guards passed out as they didn't find him anywhere. They tried to track the man but it was too late. 

"Damn it!" He screamed annoyed. "Find him!" he growled at his men as they quickly moved. 

  He went back to his room but somehow a box over his bed. He felt his heart racing but he went to it and opened it. Then, an engraved seal of the phoenix is there with words written on it.  2

  PHOENIX REBIRTH. I SEE WHAT YOU DID AND WILL DO. 

  He now wouldn't be able to sleep. But, will they know? Will they know that they already planned to bomb the castle? In a few hours, Luke will fire the missiles at the Philippines and then at the Evergarden. That's when they will start the war. They had enough resources now. 

"Who are you?" He thought deeply about the person who knows them well. But then, he already thought of someone and he couldn't believe that it was possible that he was a Phoenix.
