The morning lovemaking was one thing that satisfied him as a married man. It just lightens his mood. He kissed his wife as he gently slipped off from bed, careful not to wake her up. Then, he dressed up, brushed his teeth, and went to Cole's room. He gently opened it to find Kal sleeping soundly with his brother. It was too early but his body clock says that it was time to do some work.
He approached the bed and kissed his son's head. Then, he left the room and went to the playroom where his sister is currently vacuuming everything.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"I'm bored. I woke up early and my man is still sleeping with Quinn. I think my daughter got that attitude from her father."
"Nope." Victor shook his head. "She got it from you. Your man doesn't do that thing that she does."
Johanna looked utterly confused and innocent. She sighed and shook her head. She turned off the vacuum and put her hand on her waist.
"Really?"
"Really." He answered. They all looked at the door where Andromeda entered with a big smile.
"Hannah Grace, let's talk," Andromeda said. Johanna approached her brother and gave the vacuum to him as she followed Andromeda outside to the garden.
"What's up?" She asked as they stopped in front of the pavilion.
"I need you." She said.
"Hmm," Johanna thought for a while.
"Look, this is important. We need to move right away."
"Okay," Johanna was still nonchalant. Somehow, she expected this to happen.
"I overheard," Victor said as he approached them. "I want to go with my sister."
Andromeda stared at Victor for a while, as she assessed him. She already knew that Victor would be a big help to them. Since Andromeda had a lot of things in her hand, she needed their help.
"Fine. You can go with Jo. But will I be able to keep up?" She asked.
"Yes,"
Johanna sighed.
"Bro, just stay. Kal needs you."
"My son is very independent."
Johanna crossed her arms.
"Look. I am fine. Violet said that everything is perfect after my treatment."
"No. You will stay with Kal and the babies."
"Hannah, I can't let you go on a very dangerous mission again." He argued.
"Victor, I am more capable than you. You know that."
Victor was stunned by her straight words since they hit it right on the spot. Indeed. She's more capable. She's a natural-born killing machine. He can't compare her at all. But he wanted to try to protect her no matter what. He reached his sister's beautiful face.
"Hey, you are my baby sister. I know you are capable, but I got your back. Come on. We can finish this mission right away and get back home safely."
"Fine," Johanna hugged her brother. "Fine. But both of us need to be safe and you need to exercise first."
"I always exercise." He grinned.
Andromeda pressed her lips to avoid laughing at the siblings. They are just adorable.
"Where, in bed?" Johanna asked. "I never saw you exercise."
Victor looked away and shook his head.
"Let's get this conversation over with." He said and patted her head. "I will run when Kal's awake." He went back inside.
"So, the bond between the two of you is adorable. I have a big brother myself and he's~~well, he's also sweet. Anyway, let's get to work?"
Johanna exhaled.
"Please tell me that this isn't about the fire gem." She mumbled.
"It is," Andromeda confirmed.
Johanna groaned in frustration. She's getting tired of all of these things. But she had no choice but to back up the Dragon Empire. Or else, both of the Empires will fall under the Serpent. But soon, she will face the Serpent, probably destroy them~~she's getting more frustrated. Then, she thought of her wedding. They can't hold a wedding right away.
"Mama!" Quinn called as she walked toward her mother while giggling. Connor smiled while following Quinn. She stopped in the mid and stared down at the crawling small thing. She squatted and picked up a small turtle. "Tutu!" She said and showed it to her father.
"Oh, turtle." Connor squatted. "This might have come from the pond.
"I wan~~tutu!" She told him. She squirmed when the turtle fell and started crawling away. "Papa! Tutu!" She screamed.
"Adorable," Andromeda mumbled. "I want a baby girl as well." She mumbled.
"It's not impossible." Johanna grinned at her. "You know, Quinn is the best thing that I have in life. We are planning for more."
Andy seemed to want the same thing. They watched as Quinn chased the little turtle.
"Papa!" She screamed in excitement.
"Okay, we will get you a turtle aquarium," Connor told her.
Andromeda moved closer to Johanna.
"You met my agent, Veronica. I will give you the address for our meeting." She pulled out a mini-phone and gave it to her.
"Sure." She looked down at the phone and slid it into her pocket.
Andromeda left shortly after greeting the adorable Quinn.
Johanna had a big thought. When is this going to end? She looked down at the small turtle and picked it up. The turtles from the ponds just roamed around the garden and some accidents happened. Her thoughts drifted away from the turtles. She sighed as knots on her stomach started forming. She hated to go but she's doing this for the future of the kids.
"Mama! Tutu!" Quinn squealed in excitement and she ran to her showing the turtle.
"Yes, turtle." Johanna kissed Quinn's forehead. "Do you want a big aquarium in your room, love? Turtles?"
"I wan~~tutu." She said and gave the small turtle to her.
"Alright, let's do it today."
Connor watched his girls. He knew well what was going on and he hated for her to go again. Johanna was already preparing to have a wonderful time with her daughter.
"I will get the materials," Connor said.
"Pe-shop?"
"Pet shot, my love," Johanna told her. "Let's have breakfast first then we will go to the pet shop together."
"Yay!" 1
She looked up at her man. Then, she put down the turtles as she picked up Quinn. Her husband kissed her lips as they walked back inside. In the kitchen, he helped MJ feed Dione since she was carrying Kaiden and taking care of Cole at the same time. Somehow, Dione behaved and Cole was a big boy that he fed his little sister.
"Coco~~we Tutu… Ganden…" Quinn told Cole.
"Tutu?" Cole looked at Johanna.
"She meant the little turtles in the garden that rushed out from their ponds."
"Oh," Cole nodded his head.
"We pe-shop." Quinn giggled as Dione also giggled.
"Can I go, pet shop?" Kal asked her father.
"Of course," Victor put boiled broccoli on Kal's plate. "Eat first then you can go to the pet shop."
"Wait," Johanna thought for a while. "Are we going out of the estate?" She asked.
"No," Connor answered. "One of the agents just opened a pet shot. They have sort of things since everyone wants pets in their units."
"Okay," She looked at Quinn who was smiling. She was excited as she finished her food.
"Mama, bath-bath."
"Are you that excited, my little queen?" Johanna grinned at her daughter.
"Can I get a pet, Mrs. Del Carlo?" Cole asked.
"Sure, buddy." MJ smiled at him while she was preparing Cole's snacks. She showed him the presentable lunch box.
"I love it. Thank you."
"Mama," Quinn pointed to the lunch box.
"We will make it later," Johanna told Quinn who was staring at the lunch box.
It was a family day. Maybe it was the first time that they came out of the house to shop. Johanna was a little excited as she had Quinn in her arms while Victor had Dione in his arms. MJ entrusted them to her daughter while she waited back in the mansion. The girl's looked widened as Kal gasped and ran around. Cole held Kal's hand so he would stop.
"Doggie!" Kal exclaimed at the adorable dogs. Cole held him as they went to the kennel.
Quinn squealed as they approached the aquatics corner.
"Fishy!" Quinn gasped. Johanna put her down as Quinn wondered about the tetras that had different colors. "Fisssshy!" Quinn tip-toed as she moved her face closer to the glass.
"Can we see aquariums for reptiles?" Johanna asked the seller.
"Of course, Ma'am. We have a lot of designs perfect for any type of reptile."
"Mama!" Quinn pointed to the betta fish. "I wan!" She ran to the other seeing a big Arowana. She squirmed in excitement. "Fisshhhy!"
Johanna looked at her man who was also amazed. The excitement of those two was completely the same. Now, why did her brother tell her that Quinn took after her? She then looked at her brother who was showing bunnies to Dione.
"Bunny! Bunny!" Dione giggled and held Victor's face. "Bunny!"
"You want one?" He asked.
Connor approached her and moved his lips to her ear.
"We need to talk later. It's serious."
Johanna gaped at him, giving him an innocent face but she knew well that she would get scolded by him. She nodded her head as Connor and Quinn picked a fish that they wanted in Quinn's very own room.
She approached the salesman and asked for a glass that she can make for Quinn's very own aquarium. She already planned on how to make a big one in Quinn's room. Sooner or later, they have to move back to the house that Connor bought and she needs to plan a big room for Quinn with all of her hobbies.
Just when she's choosing, the phone vibrates. She checked Andromeda's message, date, time, and location of their rendezvous.
