The Ex Friend

  Cole helped Kal dress up as they drank their milk together. They are done with playing and so their friends went back to the guest house when a drunken Gray picked them up. 

"I sleep," Kal told him. "Here."

"Sure," Cole said as he fixed a pillow for Kal. Then, he tucked Kal in and lay down. Kal hugged his pillow. 

"Kin-kin is always busy." 

"We should ask her to play tomorrow," Cole told him. "But we might be after school." 

"Oh," Kal pouted. 

  The two boys sleep without their parents coaxing them. Cole was also in a deep sleep and having a lucid dream. It was supposed to be fun but all he does in that dream is defend himself. Those bulky men were after him and then Kal. He was panting, running, and trying to protect Kal but then, they got Dione. 

  Cole woke up and suddenly shouted. He sat up and started crying. He covered her mouth when he realized that he wasn't alone. Kal sat up and rubbed his eyes. Then, he patted Cole. 

"Don't cry, Coo," Kal said. The door opened as Harvey approached them. He sat beside Cole and patted him. 

"What's wrong, Pal?" Harvey helped Cole breathe. He couldn't talk yet and even Kal was pouting and nearly crying seeing Cole cry. "It will be alright," Harvey promised. 

"You~~You~~" Cole hiccuped and couldn't talk straight. "Don't a-adopt me." 

  Harvey understood it well. It was a bad dream. 

"It's just a bad dream. It won't happen." Harvey told him and reached his face. "Hey, Cole. Dreams don't happen and if they did, you might be able to stop it from happening." 

  Cole hiccuped and hugged Harvey. 

"Why cry?" Kal asked. "Bad guys?" He asked Harvey softly as Harvey nodded. 

  It took time for Harvey to coax them back to sleep. The moment that Cole and Kal are asleep. He went back to his room and closed the door gently. He looked at the bed where his wife was feeding their baby boy while Dione was rolling on the bed. Probably awoken by Kaiden. She sat up and crawled fast to greet him. 

"Dadi." She smiled beautifully. Harvey picked her up and kissed her forehead. "Coco, cry?" She asked. 

"Yes, it's been a rough night for your brother." 

"Ohh," Dione reached both of Harvey's cheeks. "No cry, Coco?" 

"He's not crying now. He's asleep." 

"Kay," Dione yawned and hugged Harvey. "Aiden~~cry." She mumbled. 

"That's because he's hungry. Sleep now, my little love." 

  Dione was very sleepy so it was easy for Harvey to put her back to her bed just beside his side since both of their cribs were connected to the king bed. Harvey tucked her baby and kissed her forehead. He then moved to his wife and kissed her cheeks. 

"I will prepare a lunch box for Cole tomorrow. I think he needs that." MJ whispered. 

"Sure. You need to sleep. I will take care of that little one." 

  In the morning, it was usual for them. Harvey woke up at six, to change her kid's diaper and prepare for his daily exercise. He peeked at the window to see Alessandro, Terrence, Leon, and Victor running. He wants to join but he has other responsibilities. He went to check on Cole and Kal who are still asleep. He didn't wake them but he opened the curtains a little. 

  He went back to the bedroom as Dione sat up and extended her arms. He picked her up and kissed her forehead. 

"Do you want to make breakfast?" 

  Dione stretched her arms and nodded as she hugged her father's nape. 

  He went downstairs to find the chef preparing breakfast. 

"How is it going?" he asked as he put Dione on the high chair. 

"Today's menu is according to Princess Keira's request." The Chef showed today's menu. It was healthy, with protein and everyone would love it. 

"Great, my wife and I will be preparing Cole's lunch box." 

"Yes, your highness. I will set up a fancy lunch for Lord Cole." 

  The chef was quick as he showed the types of lunch boxes that he had. Harvey nodded at the lunch boxes. 

"This is a lunch box that can reheat the food in a few minutes." The Chef said. 

  Harvey checked on it and nodded his head. 

"Good thing that you have lunch boxes." 

"Your wife asked me to buy these lunch boxes for the kids." 

"That's great. I think Kal would want a lunch box too since his big brother will have to go to school." Harvey smiled at the lunch boxes. "Do you want a lunch box too, my little love?" 

  Dione pointed out the color she likes.

  Keira prepares at seven in the morning and while she's eating her breakfast, she's feeding her baby girl from her breast. Since she had a bath, she's currently drying her hair with a stand-in hairdryer. Alessandro shortly came out wearing his usual office attire. Then, he started taking out dresses to make her choose what she wanted to wear. 

"I like that purple one. Go and check my purple engagement ring." She said as Alessandro indeed checked on it. He also prepared her purse to change her bag and then, he walked to the table to eat with her. "So, the reading will be today. I won't be able to eat lunch with you." 

"Okay," He nodded his head. 

"We also got an audition by one in the afternoon." She looks down at Callisa who has her eyes on Keira while she's having her milk time. "And you, my little darling. You are going to stay with your aunt and have time with your cousins." 

  Callisa stopped sucking as she cooed like she understood the assignment and she got back to her business.

"Good girl," Keira said. "Love, put a napkin over your shirt so you won't miss on it." 

  Sandro stood and instead of putting any table napkin, he removed his shirt and lay it flat over the bed and he went back to the table to eat. Keira grinned at him as she licked the side of her lips. Then, she reached the goblet and sipped on her water. 

"You should do that always." 

"Sure." He grinned. 

  It takes an hour and a half for Keira to get ready. She also baths Calli. So, before she hands Calli to Johanna, she would smell good and look beautiful. Once Keira was done with her make-up, hair, and dress, she went downstairs to the playroom as she gave Calli to her sister. 

"Well, she looks pretty and smells good," Keira told Johanna. "Everything is perfect too." 

"Darling, dear darling. You can go now and make money. Make sure that my Quinn has allowances." 

"Of course," Keira kissed Quinn. "You already have your allowance little Quinn." 

  Keira pulled out three red fifty pesos and put them in Quinn's purse. 

"Here's your allowance for today's allowance." 

"Keira, that's not what I meant." Johanna raised her brows. 

"It's fun." Keira giggled and kissed her daughter. 

  Keira and Alessandro get in their car as they drive off to their office. They got a shortcut on the way to the global city. They happened to pass by the cafe as Keira gaped at the strawberry cherry drink. 

"Wait," Keira told the driver. She stepped out of the car as the bodyguards quickly followed him. Alessandro rolled his eyes but he stepped out of the car and followed his wife.  1

  They get in as Keira pointed out what she wanted. Sandro ordered an iced coffee for himself. When they are making their drink as they wait at the table, Sandro just realizes that Keira shouldn't be drinking anything cold. 

"Love, you will be singing today, right?" 

"Yes, I just can't resist that drink." She giggled. Soon, their drink came up and they went back inside their car. She smiled as she sipped on her drink and hummed. 

  She was smiling when she looked at the window. A woman in a fancy dress was dancing outside the newly opened hotel and they were singing and dancing. But she told the driver to stop as she watched Holly, her ex-best friend dancing and dancing. She smirked. 

"Where does all of her money go?" She asked herself while having fun with Holly. She rolled down her window shield as she watched Holly dance and sing. She was once a talent agent. She smirked as she watched Holly. Somehow, the woman saw her and stopped in the middle. She looked forward and rolled her window shield up. "Let's go." 

"Oh, you like giving suspense." Alessandro chuckled as he looked forward. 

"What? Can't I give suspense to people?" She laughed and sipped on her drink. As soon as Alessandro dropped her off and escorted her to her office, he gave her a lot of kisses and left for his office. 

  Keira sat down as she called her people to know about Holly's whereabouts. She signed a few documents as her assistant and the secretary reported a few documents. She hummed and looked at her assistant. 

"Do you know, Holly? My ex-best friend?" 

"Yes, miss." 

"Well, how long has she been working in the store~~the new restaurant that opened?" 

"She's not working there. She's just endorsing it, Ma'am. Her current salary was the minimum." 

"Oh," Keira smirked. "How poor is she?" 

"She could only afford a bed space rent." 

"Oh," Keira was too surprised.
