Welcome Dinner

  Gray felt a little terrible leaving the kids while he was invited to this fancy dinner. But the atmosphere doesn't look good at all. Looking at MJ, Prince Harvey's wife just sent him shivers. But every time she looked at her daughter, Dione, she softened. He doesn't know if she should eat or not. But the chatty and cheerful Keira told him to eat.

"So, Uncle, how's the food?" Johanna smirked at him, completely teasing him. Gray glared at him as Johanna laughed. 

"Shoo~shoo?" Quinn asked Johanna. 

"He's your grandfather," Johanna told Quinn. Quinn looked puzzled and she looked at Victor. 

"Ga-andpapa?" She pointed to Victor. 

"No, dear. I'm your Uncle." Victor said as Terrence and Leon laughed. 

"Oh," Quinn looked puzzled for a while then, Dione also titled her head. 

"Wow, your children are intelligent, by just looking at them," Gray commented. 

"How about my baby?" Keira asked him as Gray peeked at her adorable baby. 

"I am sure that she's the same," Gray commented. 

  Connor rolled his eyes. Still annoyed at Gray for hooking up with his fiancee. But since Johanna paid no attention to the man and he was their Uncle, he will let it go. The conversation continues. Somehow, the kids are well-mannered and aren't the type to throw tantrums on their dining table. They were trained to be like that and not to mess with the table. They can play with their food as it was part of exploring the texture, taste, and smell of the food. 

"Mama~~" Quinn suddenly pouted as her lips wobbled. 

"What's wrong?" Johanna picked her up from her high chair and hugged her. 

"Let me check on her." Violet stood from her seat and followed Johanna. 

"Excuse me." Connor stood and followed them. 

  They continued their dinner as Gray complimented the food. Alessandro named the dishes and who cooked them. Mostly, the boys were the ones who cooked most of the dishes. He was amazed that they could make it. So, since he's in an unfamiliar household, he wants to go back to Paradis and have his own life there. Moved on from his heartbreak. 

"By the way, we prepare snacks for the kids," MJ told Gray.

"Can I see them?" Cole asked MJ. 

"Sure, darling. You can deliver the snacks yourself." 

"Can I share my toys too?" He asked again. 

"Sure," 

  Gray nearly flushed. He was amazed by MJ as the Crown Princess of the Paradis Evergarden Kingdom and a mother. She's amazing. He was now aware that she adopted Cole and few of them would adopt other kids. Gray already decided that kids age nine and above will be under his care. He will discuss it with Karmina when he gets to Paradis. But for now, they need to focus on helping the kids.

Charles Mansion,

  Kennedy was ashen upon checking every flammable that Johanna set up around the facility and in the mansion. Now, Janella together with the Lefebure siblings looked pale and anxious. They almost left the facility to save themselves but it's been hours and Johanna makes sure that there will be no bomb that's going to explode. 

"See? You threatened her all the time but she planted bombs in a very short time. We still don't know where are other bombs and it can be deactivated anytime." Kennedy stood. 

"So, what are you going to do?" Danica asked. "I am going back to Russia now. I don't want to get involved with this madness." She stood but Kennedy reached her arm. 

"No one is leaving." Kennedy glared at her. 

  Danica rolled her eyes and sat back on the sofa. 

"We won't mess with Hannah Grace. We will do this mission for ourselves." He turned to Janella. "We will proceed on finding the other pieces." He stood and let go of Danica. Then, he left them. Danica followed him as he went directly to the bedroom to change his clothes. His wife walked into his closet room as she slouched on the sofa. 

"So, what's your plan now? Just that and let that bitch go?" 

"First of all, we are the ones that did wrong to them and she deserves to leave. She risked her life many times just to get those damn gems. Do you even know what they do?" 

  Danica thought for a while but she looked up at him. 

"Those things were magical. I didn't believe them at first since I had never seen them. But they said that Dragon~~the heir to the Dragon Empire was also hunting these which means that it might be true." 

"How magical?" He asked as he unbuttoned the top of his shirt. 

"It can control everything on the earth. I thought it was crazy." 

  Kennedy stared at her for a long time. 

"Are you serious?" 

"That's what they say." She shrugged. 

  He reached for her phone as he checked where they kept half of the aquamarine gem secured. It was glowing somehow but half was missing. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be in the same area. But they are planning to get another gem which is located in Hawaii. It will be a little risky but they need to take it. 

  Danica stood, approached him, and helped him with the buttons. 

"Let's forget it for a while. You are stressed." She tiptoed and kissed his lips. He didn't push her since she was his wife. She's a good seductress and just as she said, he needs to relax.

  Gray stayed with them a little longer. Currently, Quinn was sitting on her sofa while playing with other kids. He was curious about how she recovered fast from food poisoning. Usually, children at her age might be still in the hospital, but the little girl was already playing with them. She noticed him watching them. So, she approached him while holding her mini-purse. She pointed to his blue smart band. 

"What?" He asked. 

"Ikura ka-kakarimasu ka?" She asked in a sweet voice. 'How much does it cost?'

"Did you just speak in Nihongo?" He asked. 

"Shiharaimasu?" She asked again. 'I'll pay for it.'

  He removed his watch and thought that she wanted to play on it. Then, she took it, as she pulled a blue paper bill. One thousand pesos. Then, she gave it to him. 

"Hey," He was stunned, puzzled… confused. "That's not for sale." He was about to take it. 

"Oh, Quinn." Connor clicked his tongue. "I told you. You can't buy any stuff you want with that money. Also, that's expensive. Give it back to him." 

"Okane!" She shouted at him and pulled her cash and threw it in her father's direction. 

"Bro, she has money in her purse?" Gray asked Connor who nodded his head. "How did she know to use that?" 

"Quinn, pick it up now," Connor told her strictly. 

  Quinn flopped on the carpet and started gathering the money she threw. Then, she organized it by color and put it back in her purse. 

"Now, give the watch back." He told her. 

  She pouted as tears rolled down her cheeks. Then, she gave the watch back as Gray gave her money back. She then stood and walked to the very corner and started crying. 

"Quinn, it's no time for drama. Come here and we will get something blue." 

"What's with the color organization?" He said. "Does she have OCD? It might be early for that but I think she had it." 

"That will be very, very bad," Connor said as he approached Quinn. "Come on, baby. We will get you something blue." 

"Dat~dat coyoy." She pointed to Gray's watch.  1

"Yes, we will get it." He picked her up. "She just liked to organize colors, that's it. Let's not pray that she has OCD." Connor told him. 

"Yeah, right." Gray watched as they went through the toys and decors. Quinn was very specific about what she wanted. Maybe she just likes organizing colors and her food. She doesn't seem to be obsessive about a single thing. 

  He watched as Johanna entered the playroom. He grinned and was about to approach him. But she went directly to Quinn and Connor. She hugged her man from behind and kissed Quinn's lips who was giggling and showing her a ball. So, what is he doing in the playroom anyway? He just gets jealous of Johanna and her handsome husband, with an adorable baby. 

  He stood and was about to leave. 

"Oh, don't forget the spare clothes for the kids." Johanna reminded him. 

"Fine," Gray mumbled. 

  On the other hand, Johanna took Quinn to the table as she showed her how organized she is. No one taught her that, however, each of them was taught to clean up the toys that they play with before leaving the playroom. 

"What did you do?" Johanna asked Quinn as she sat beside her baby while she was playing with the legos.

"Gandpa~~okane~~bue." She told her. Johanna looked at Connor as he moved his lips to her ear and told her what happened. Johanna nearly burst into laughter but she shook her head. What Connor did to Quinn was just right. 

"Quinn, what is Grandfather in Nihongo?" 

"Ojisan!" Kal exclaimed. 

"Ojishan!" Quinn exclaimed too after she learned it from Kal. 

"So, you can call Gray Ojisan." 

"Ojishan!" Quinn giggled. Then, she suddenly stood and hold on to her mother. She pointed to her stomach as she poop, probably watery. "Poo—poo, Mama." She cried. 

"Oh," Johanna hugged her. "It will be alright. It will stop soon. Mommy's here now." Johanna said softly but inside her head, she wanted to kill whoever did this to her daughter.
