The Secret Uncle

  Harvey looked at his daughter who was insisting to see Quinn in the hospital. First, he approached MJ and kissed her forehead. He could see the anger in her eyes and the signs of a possible anxiety attack were there. Although he knew that she was a strong woman, it doesn't mean she can't break down. That's why he's here. He leaned his forehead to hers. 

"Hey, babe. I am here now." 

"Victor is already after that woman." She said, "But I can't risk anything else now. Not the kids." 

"I understand. Johanna is back. She's currently with Quinn." 

  MJ's eyes widened. Harvey nodded his head to assure her. 

"Don't worry now, my love. Relax, okay? I will help with breakfast. Dione and I will cook for mommy." 

"I wan~~cook!" Kal exclaimed. "Vivi wan~~cook." 

"Okay, let's go!" 

  Harvey exclaimed as the boys followed. But then, Kal stopped when he noticed that Levina wasn't following. 

"Kal, she can't walk yet. She's still a baby." 

"Ohh," Kal pouted. "Car!" He exclaimed. 

  Harvey chuckled and held Cole's hand as they walked to the kitchen. MJ smiled after seeing that. 

"See? All is well." Keira picked up her baby. "Well, since there's Levina, Callisa, and Kaiden here, we will be able to relax." 

  Keira sighed and she closed her eyes. Somehow, Callisa was staring at her mother with the 'feed me' look. 

"Okay," Keira went to the other corner and fed Callisa. 

  Back in the kitchen. They make the kids wash their hands. Harvey did the same and put his apron on. 

"We are going to make a big breakfast." He said. 

  They should be happy making breakfast together but from what happened to Quinn. They need to be more cautious. They prepared fancy breakfast and although they made a mess, the kids had fun. They even prepare food for Levina, Callisa, and Kaiden even though they can't eat yet. Once Harvey had breakfast and helped MJ with the kids, he took a shower, dressed up casually, and took Dione, with Kal and Cole to the hospital. The kids are wearing face masks, in case they might catch the flu or virus. 

  They went to Quinn's room and Harvey knocked. He reached the door but it was locked. He understood what was happening. 

"Okay, I think Quinn is sleeping," Harvey told the kids. 

"Ay!" Kal pouted. 

"Gray!" Cole called the man named Gray who was picking a coffee in a vending machine. 

"Cole!" Gray was smiling as Cole ran to him and they did a fist bump. 

"Gigi?" Dione asked Harvey. 

"I know that guy," Harvey told her as he approached Cole and Kal followed. "What are you doing here?" 

"I bring the kids here." Gray winked at him. "We met." 

"Yes," Harvey nodded his head. Gray grinned. 

"So, Keira told you?" 

"Told me what?" 

  Gray bounced his head. 

"Wow, that girl is forgetful." He said as he extended the can of coffee. 

"No. Thanks." 

"I think the couple is busy and although it broke my heart, I have no say in it." He said as he opened the canned coffee. Kal approached him and looked up at him. Gray was bewildered on why Kal was staring at the drink in front of him. 

"It's not for kids, Kal," Cole told him. 

"I wan~~I wan~~" Kal looked at Harvey. "Peaseee~~Peasee." 

"Whose kid is this?" Gray asked and patted Kal. But Kal pushed his hand away. 

"Ugly!" Kal shouted at him, crystal clear. 

  Harvey laughed but he quickly stopped himself. 

"That's Victor's son." 

"Oh, that's why they looked alike." 

"Foodie, peaasee."

"Ka-kal... Odddie." Dione told Harvey in a very adorable voice. 

"Yes, he's always hungry." Harvey agreed to Dione. 

"What are you doing here, Victor?" Cole asked again. 

"I'm with Johanna and other kids." 

"Really?" Cole's eyes brightened. "Can I see them?" 

"Not yet." He shook his head. 

  Gray sighed and swung the can to his mouth. 

"Hmm, the door is open." Gray pointed to the room where Quinn was. 

"Kin-Kin!" Kal exclaimed as Dione mimicked Kal. They all went to the room where Quinn was. But Connor signed them. Gray followed. 

  Currently, Johanna is sleeping. The reason why Connor didn't open the door after a few moments was because he was trying to coax Quinn back to sleep. However, the little girl didn't want to sleep anymore and she smiled seeing Kal, Dione, and Cole. 

"Kin-kin!" Kal called. 

"Ki-Kin!" Dione exclaimed.

  Kal covered his mouth as he looked at Johanna. Then, he approached her and kissed her cheeks. Then, she climbed up to Quinn's bed as Kal checked her hand. They started chatting with their baby. Somehow, Gray was still beside the door, admiring the communication between the kids. Then, Connor blocked his way. 

"What are you doing here, still?" He crossed his arms. 

"Well, admiring the kids." He smiled. "Okay, I'm going." He was about to go when his phone rang. He answered it as he turned to the door. "Hey, Mina. How's the Queen's duty?"

  Connor and Harvey looked at each other as Gray left and closed the door. Connor followed him and caught him laughing on the phone. 

"Yup, I spoke to your daughter." Then, Gray looked at him. "I have explaining to do." He said like he was telling her and him at the same time.

  Harvey gently pulled the blanket over Johanna's arm and it woke her up. He smiled and patted her. 

"Go back to sleep." Then, he approached Quinn who was currently telling them what happened to her. Dione even gave that surprised look. It was amazing that the kids are having this kind of conversation as a team. Cole told them that he got used to injecting. Kal even gaped at him. Cole told them that it hurts and Quinn even pouted like she was going to cry. But his adoptive son patted Quinn and told her that it will go away soon.  2

"It's just a prick an ant." 

"No~~ No." Quinn shook her head. But then, she pouted and reached her head. 

"You will get dizzy." Cole patted her head. 

"Ow?" Dione asked Quinn as she pointed her hand. 

"Ow," Quinn answered. It's adorable how they communicate like that. Like they are grown-ups chatting casually. "Mama, kiss-kiss." Quinn giggled as Cole looked at the sleeping Johanna. 

"Your mom is Hannah Grace?" Cole mumbled. 

"Mama, kissy~~lab~lab." 

  Harvey titled his head. Did she see her parents make love? But he's sure that it wasn't what Quinn meant. Right? 

"Mama~~dis~~appear ow~~" She tried hard to get the words right as she continued. "Mama, love, Kin-Kin." 

"Of course, darling." Harvey chuckled when he was relieved about what Quinn meant. 

  He stayed with the kids until Connor arrived as he moved closer to him and whispered. 

"Did you know that Gray-guy was your Uncle?" 

  Harvey froze and stared at him. 

"We will discuss this when we get home. Somehow, Keira knows first and he was talking to Karmina casually." 

"He's a royal." 

"Yes, a cousin." 

  Harvey crossed his arms as he thought deeply. Then, Dione looked up at him and mimicked him. He smiled at her and patted her head. 

"Right, we will talk soon. When will Quinn leave?" 

"If she's alright tomorrow. We can go back. But for now, we will stay here." 

  After the chit-chat, he took the kids back to the mansion. He also invited Gray but the man said to save him a guest house with the kids. He still needs to nurse them since he became a responsible guardian. Since he didn't have his phone with him, he didn't have an idea about the guy. But he needs to speak to his mother about it. Now, he wondered what was happening to the Charles Empire. 

"My love, can you hold Kaiden?" MJ asked him after he changed his clothes. He sanitized his arms and hand as he reached his little boy. He smiled and admired the baby. 

"He looks like you," Cole said. 

"Really?" Harvey smiled up at Cole. "This is your baby brother, Kaiden. You will love him and protect him like Kal, Quinn, Levi, Granger, and Dione." 

"I will." Cole smiled and admired Kaiden. "My brothers and sisters~~the friends that I have back in the facility are already with us." 

"Yes. That's right. It is what Victor promised, right?" 

  Cole nodded as he looked at the door. 

"Victor's not here yet." 

"He will be here soon." 

  They all looked at the door as Terrence entered, looking tired, with a stern face. He bent down and kissed his wife. Then, he approached him. 

"Can we talk privately?" he asked in a very low voice. 

"Certainly." He stood with Kaiden in his arms. They walk to the library and Terrence made sure that there's no one eavesdropping on them. 

"I was in the facility of the Charles Empire. Kennedy is taking command. It is a good thing. But then, the Serpent found out about Kal and Quinn." Terrence exhaled slowly. "They can't know about the other kids. We will make a new security protection plan for the kids. Code Red." 

  Harvey looked down at her little boy. 

"We will. I know that Kal and Quinn are young. But they need to know the drill."
