The Gems

  Seeing Quinn made Johanna cry. The baby was crying because she was tired but she cried more when she saw her. Then, Quinn stopped and started her baby talks. Although she didn't understand all of it, she knew that Quinn missed her and she was probably complaining about how tired she was. Then, she pointed to Finella, Sophia's daughter. Johanna admired the beautiful girl since she held her once. She's taller and she's beautiful. 

"Mama," Quinn's adorable pout with tears was just~~a masterpiece. 

"I love you." Johanna sighed as she wiped her tears. "Happy Birthday, my love. You looked so beautiful."

"Titin~mama. Shishinnn." 

"I don't know what you are talking about but I will be with you. Sooner or later. Okay?" 

  Quinn finally smiled and giggled. Johanna gave kisses on the screen. 

"I love you." She told Connor who nodded his head. Then, she hung up. She sighed and stared at the ceiling. She missed her daughter's first birthday. But she's still lucky that she could contact them. She slipped off from the bed and stretched. She needs to work on something soon. 

"Tokyo. Sweden… what's next?" She mumbled. "Oh god. This is frustrating." 

  She spread her legs as she stretched her hamstrings and arms. The door burst open as the stone was thrown in front of her. She looked at it and continued stretching. 

"What?" 

"That's fake," Janella shouted at her as Kennedy followed. 

"What do you mean?" Johanna reached it and checked it. "This is not the gem that I gave you." 

"Yes, that's not the real one." She frowned so much. 

"Why are you frowning? I've been sick for days." 

  Janella pulled her gun and pointed it at her. She acted surprised but she put away the gem. 

"Didn't you put a tracker on it?" She asked her. 

  Janelle was surprised but she pulled her gun away. She looked frustrated as Johanna only remained calm. 

"I never touched it after I gave it to you. It's not my fault that someone swapped it or something." Johanna rolled her eyes. 

"If I found out that you had something to do with this. I'm going to kill you." Janella threatened. 

"Oh, yeah? Can you kill me?" Johanna challenged her. 

"Yes, I can." Janella snarled at her. 

"Well, try me." She smirked. "No matter how hard you try, you won't kill me first." 

  The woman continued glaring at her. Kennedy reached his forehead and exhaled slowly. Then, the woman rushed out of Johanna's room. 

"Didn't you guys knock? Were you all supposed to knock first before entering? You are already invading my space." 

"My apologies," Kennedy said. The dark circles in his eyes said it all. He's stressed over the Lefebure family. Poor guy. 

"Hey, won't we~~you know~~hang out. You looked stressed." 

"I am fine." He said. 

"Let's take Gray." 

  Kennedy stared at her. 

"You need a damn massage man. I don't know how to do that. I think Gray can help." 

  She watched as Kennedy closed the door. Then, she shrugged and checked the stone. 

"It was almost the same as the stone that I gave to them. Maybe they put a fake stone there?" She mumbled to herself. She sighed and got up. "Right, I need some work to do."

  Time flew fast as they celebrated Dione's birthday as well. It's been months and Dione has a grand birthday as well. The theme was enchanted Kingdom. They were wearing costumes and everyone was having fun, dancing and playing. Also, she loves holding her baby brother. Kaiden grows healthy after months. He got a little fat and he even knew how to smile whenever Dione came up to him. 

"You look beautiful, Princess Dione." Karmina approached her granddaughter. She had everything sorted out for their first birthday. A customized tiara and customized necklaces. Dione was wearing an elf-style tiara while she held her little brother on her lap to take a photo. "They are just so adorable." Karmina sighed as Henry hugged her and kissed her cheeks. 

"I know. I will check on something." He mumbled to her ear. She held his arm to stop him. "This needs a lot of attention, my love." He whispered. "It's about Jo," 

  She nodded her head as she stayed with the kids. Quinn walked to her and lifted the purse that Finella gave to her on her birthday. Then, she opened it and it was empty. 

"Oh, dear. You don't have cash." 

"Mimi~Momo~," She told her. Since Karmina didn't have money with her, she told her maid to get her purse. The maid nodded her head. 

"I am so sorry, Princess Quinn. Would you patiently wait for your money?" 

"Ma~~nye." 

"It's money, darling." She patted her head. 

  She started saying something and she caught a word that's not her main language. It was Nihongo. Karmina blinked. 

"What, darling?" 

"Okane." She said, 

"That's fluent." She patted her head. Shortly, the maid arrived with her purse. Then, Karmina bent down as she put three different colors of bills. The baby looked happy and she closed her purse and ran off. "Adorable." She then looked at Kal and Cole who made more friends with the guests. Everything is perfect. 

  She finally looked at her daughter, Keira who was currently chatting with Andromeda, Sabrina, and others while her baby was with her husband. Since Keira was with Callisa almost 24-7, Alessandro wanted to have his adorable daughter cling to him. It was a perfect happy family. But she hopes that it will last until they grow old since a new threat was there. The old man, Klaus, was continuing to be ill as he told the Serpent to kill Johanna. But since they are still using her, they won't kill her yet. 

  Keira glanced at her adorable husband who was holding a mini fan in front of Callisa while he was busy chatting with his friends. His friends made a joke about him being dead and he was so ugly in his coffin. They still have the fake bodies back in the grave. She faced Andromeda and smiled. 

"So, I heard that you haven't told Zachy about~~"

"Let's not talk about it. You are going to spill everything." And Andromeda rolled her eyes. "By the way, I have a favor to ask." 

"Sure thing." 

  Andromeda moved closer to her, covered her mouth, and moved her lips half an inch from her ear. 

"I want you to protect one gem. Put it in the ocean." 

  Keira was stunned. 

"I already have it so it will be impossible for them to get the real thing." 

"Okay," Keira nodded her head. 

"Let's talk somewhere." And Andromeda took her hand. Keira brings her to the safest area. She checked if there were others inside and she played loud music. Andromeda sighed as she moved closer to her. "I can't hold one gem at the same time." She whispered. "I already contacted the guardians in Tokyo as they agreed to my terms. The emerald gems back in Sweden were also safe. We removed them from locations somewhere no one can know. I will have it as soon as I find my place." 

"Okay~~" Keira nodded her head. "If you say so. But, these gems won't do bad things, right." 

"They are harmless unless bad and stupid people have them." 

  Keira crossed her arms and nodded her head. 

"I know the right place to hide it." Keira had decided. "Count me in."  0

"Great. You will only know where it is located. I will have it after I am done searching." 

"Okay," 

  They went back to the party as Keira was in a big mood. She doesn't believe much about the supernatural. But somehow, Andromeda was serious about the gems. Like it was destructive. She doesn't know anything about that but she heard that Andromeda has been in an unknown place. An unknown paradise. 

"Love," Alessandro approached her as he whispered. "Calli looked angry. She's hungry." 

  Keira picked on Calli with that unhappy look. So, she took her inside as Alessandro followed. In their bedroom, Sandro watched as Callisa was sucking on Keira's left breast. He leaned on her and grinned. Keira rolled her eyes but she kissed his forehead. 

"I hope that every day is like this." He whispered. "I hope that every day I will be happy and won't be anxious about possible danger. When will it end?" He whispered. "I want it to end. We will be happy. Right?" 

"Hmm," She nodded her head. "As long as we live, there will be more and more danger for us ahead." 

  Alessandro sighed. 

"Everyone knows that you are alive and about Wendy's crimes… The old Charles was furious about it." 

"What is the furious about? That we are alive and his granddaughter is dead?" She scoffed. 

"Don't stress out our baby." He kissed Callisa's arm. 

"You open it up." 

"I'm sorry." He kissed her chest. "Anyway, about Quinn." He sat straight. "Was Johanna like that?" 

"Well, she was perfect. She was well behaved but there were times that she was uncontrollable. Like~~" She somehow realized that she's already thinking about how Johanna slaughtered Top A assassins by ripping them off. "Well, Quinn might have a bully side or a sudden tantrum. But kids have tantrums if they don't get what they want." 

"Right," Sandro agreed with her. "But I saw Quinn last night since she had a mini slumber party with Dione, Finella, and Levina… She kissed each of them while they were asleep and tucked them in. She went back to bed after that too. She has a very sweet side." 

"You should tell Connor about these since he's mostly at work too." 

"It's not just that," Sandro mumbled. "Quinn is smart like Kal but way too much."
